Role Overview
This newly created role will be operationally focused on the design, development, delivery and measurement of training programs. This includes being responsible for the prioritization of training requests and allocation of resources. Through the training team, this role executes on the strategic direction set by L&D, HR and the Training Advisory Committee to deliver training solutions in alignment with the Company’s business needs and employee development strategy. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic all interviews are being conducted virtually. If selected for an in-office position, you will work remotely while BGRS operates under mandatory telework.

What You’ll Be Doing
Collaborates with the L&D Management and other key stakeholders to ensure successful and timely delivery of Learning and Development training initiatives
Provides input into the design of new training content. Incorporates the use of best practices to support the design of training content and materials (ie online materials and resources)
Responsible for all facets of people management for direct reports (Training Specialists) including regular coaching and feedback sessions, performance development plans and goal setting to align with department and organizational priorities
Responsible for the compilation of all training evaluations and the reporting of metrics. Provides detailed analysis of findings including ROI
Leverages strong project management skills to be able to continually prioritize training initiatives/projects and resource allocation
Identifies and recommends opportunities for enhancing department processes, procedures, training content and methodology and curriculums
Works closely with various internal stakeholder groups to share information about L&D training plans and initiatives, and capture training needs identified. Brings ideas and recommendations to the L&D management team for discussion and planning purposes
Participates in project calls as necessary to understand the scope of new training requests, to assign resources and to contribute to the training requirements
Remains current with the Training Industry including trends, methods and learning strategies
Other tasks and projects as required
Other Information:
Willingness to participate in conference calls outside regular business hours to accommodate the global L&D and HR team

What You Bring to BGRS

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, HR, or Business Management
Training Designations beneficial: ATD International, Blanchard, Achieve Global etc

Experience:
7 + years’ experience with learning and development with responsibility for creation and implementation of internal employee training programs (including needs assessments, solution design, program effectiveness metrics)
Previous global training development and delivery experience preferred
3+ years’ experience managing projects and large-scale organization wide initiatives in employee training/talent management

Skills:
Proven ability to communicate effectively and build relationships across the company
Excellent people management skills to successfully manage training team members
Demonstrated ability to plan, design and manage multiple projects concurrently. Ability to understand the big picture and map out the project plans accordingly
Understanding of training needs analysis, development, design, delivery and measurement
Independent thinker and effective decision maker
Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Self-directed, continuous learner
Creative individual who has a demonstrated drive for results
Attention to detail, follow through, and excellent proofreading skills are essential
Desire to thrive in a dynamic and growing environment which includes continual change and multiple concurrent projects
