Role Overview

The Process Design Specialist’s mandate is to assess, design and recommend automation solutions. This role will apply process improvement, project management and change management methodologies to improve business processes, customer experience and operating efficiencies.This will be a short term, 12 months contract, with the potential for extension.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the identification, assessment, recommendation and implementation of new processes and process redesign through automation
  • Analyze existing processes to understand process steps, interdependencies, and applications used to complete business transactions
  • Conduct process gap analysis and recommendations for business process redesign
  • Recommend automated solutions to eliminate manual work for repeatable processes



What You Bring to BGRS
 

  • Ability to start at a high level and go deep to understand business problems
  • University degree in Business Administration or Computer Science, Information Services or equivalent.
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in Technical Implementations for automation software and/or Process Design/Engineering
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in SAAS organization, Management consulting firms, Financial organizations
  • Agile certification, Business Process Management certification, Lean / Six Sigma, and/ or Business Analyst is an asset
  • Eager self-starter
  • Analytical and detail oriented
  • Strong relationship building skills (Internal team, business stakeholders, project execution teams)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple technology priorities across all business divisions and shared service departments.
  • Knowledge of applicable software design and development practice; programming techniques and systems; and language platforms;
  • Good verbal, written and presentation skills.
