Role Overview

The Client Payroll Specialist ensures appropriate accounting, reporting, and disbursement of employee relocation expenses per client company policies. This role is responsible for interfacing with client payroll and HR personnel. The Client Payroll Specialist will also manage client processing and reporting requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Interface with client payroll department on income and tax data
  • Reconciliation of payroll and Cost Management systems
  • Manage calculation of employee tax assistance per client policy
  • Prepare final year end payroll feed and tax assistance for client W2 process
  • Field and resolve year-end tax assistance questions from customers
  • Audit for data integrity of file set up and taxability coding for expense reports and direct bills
  • Manage timely and accurate deliverables

What You Bring to BGRS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or an Associate Degree with relevant experience preferred
  • Minimum of three years Accounting/Finance experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of FAR regulations and experience participating in DCAA audits a plus
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office environment and financial applications
  • Moderate to advanced knowledge of Excel required, with an understanding of macros and the ability to perform V lookups
  • Ability to multi-task and complete projects with limited supervision
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated organization skills and ability to prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to adapt to procedural enhancements and modifications, as well as ability to assist in updating operation instructions to reflect these enhancements
  • Detail oriented and strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
